Throughout this hobby, I have always wondered how people are dosing their planted aquariums. This would be a great thread to get to know other people's dosing regime!
For me, I have no strict or follow a dosing regime/schedule. I basically tell the plants tell me what I should fertilize. I think it has been about 3 weeks since I've dosed any fertilizers in my 20g planted aquarium. All it has is just aqua soil for the substrate and a 55w PC bulb for lighting, and no CO2.
Occasionally however, I will dose 1/4 tsp of KNO3, 1/2 tsp of KS204, and 1/8 tsp of KH2PO4 once or twice a month. I try to do a water change once every two weeks if I can, otherwise I normally top off the tank.
I like to keep it simple and so far the plants are growing nicely
