I think Uka is on the right track with this. The video idea is a great idea!!!!!!

If we are going to do that, and I am excited about this by the way, then we need some hard and fast rules.

Of course, hosting that is universally accessible, like Vimeo and You Tube which is not a problem for most of us.

Do it in HD, being another reasonable requirement, or at least a quality recording so that the judges can clearly see what's going on.

Nothing too technically over the top, like a sound track, but certainly some credits that at least identify the entry and the date and time.

That just gave me an idea: A video contest, but with an appearance by the owner explaining over the course of maybe 3 minutes his set up, what they were trying to achieve and justifying the final product. Kind of like an essay for an entry explaining why you entered and think you should win.

I think you get the idea.

Please, anyone else with ideas about how to do it, what it should include and how to keep everything orderly and make it a bit of a challenge, do speak up!

Well, judging by the number of subscribers who posted to this thread and counting myself, it looks like there are at least 8 who are willing to compete.

This will be so exciting! I hope more people decide to participate. Really make this one a trial!

I've been in a mood lately and would love to compete with someone and indulge in a little gamesmanship.

because I get so frustrated with the choppiness and poor quality of their stream that I usually give up and close the video. Worst video hosting I've seen since I switched to broadband 4 years ago.
