Okay, from what I have been reading in all the links provided I really dont see this working out. The fine thread AND CGA320 connection seem to be non existent. However, I have seen nitrogen/CGA320 connection adapters which is what you may end up doing if need be. I know Bill over on Plant Guild sells them pretty cheap.

This fine thread nipple that sajata linked is 1/2"-27 thread
CGA 510FT Nut and Nipple ![]() and looks just like the nipple I have. Also I found out that CGA 500, 510, 580, 590 all use the same nipple; just different nuts (the nut I have is a CGA 590). So they all would use the same 1/4" NPT (normal thread) nipple or 1/2"-27 (fine thread) nipple. The one have is 3" so part number 15-9 as shown on these listings: http://www.westernenterprises.com/en.../PDFS/wi22.pdf http://www.westernenterprises.com/en.../PDFS/wi23.pdf Which is also listed here with the right part number and description, but with the wrong picture. I noticed a lot of wrong pictures being shown when looking up these parts. So it looks like what I need is a CGA 320 nipple with 1/2"-27 (fine thread). Which brings me to part CO-7, listed here: http://www.westernenterprises.com/enterprises/PDFS/wi21.pdf I hope that explains how I came to my conclusion.

Most regulators with a standard 1/4" NPT inlet port would use any of the nipples that have 1/4" NPT (CO-3, CO-4, etc.) |
