All plants taken from this tank. Most plants are algae free. There may be a few small spots of BBA on some leaves and I do have snails.


I also have some freebie Rotala rotundifolia that gets a nice shade of pink in high light. You must order other plants to get this freebie.

I do have heat packs but I don't have proper packing material to insulate at this time. If there is enough interest, I'll make a run to the hardware store for a sheet of styrofoam. There is an additional $2 charge for the heat pack/packing material.

It filled in pretty well, but not as I expected. I was trying to copy a design I saw and it didn't work out the way I thought it would. I'm going to create a "Tetra Playground" and the next design will focus on swords, less stems, more wood, Blyxa foreground. I'm going to try and design a trench down the middle towards the back. Larger leaved plants and sticks in the front, smaller plants and sticks in the back in an attempt to create visual depth. Hopefully I'll remember to take pics along the way to document the new setup.
