I am starting this thread as a space for observations on a new product, the Tank Planters aquarium plant system. Tank Planters are not an entirely novel idea, but rather a proposed improvement on a plant care method that has been around for some time--the management of aquarium plants in containers holding nutrient-rich substrates.
The Tank Planter design includes, among other features, a planter cup with a threaded bottom covering. ![]() There are a number of situations where aquarium hobbyists might find these things to be useful. Serious aquascapers will probably have less use for them, but they might be applied in planted layouts that use lots of anubias and ferns planted on driftwood and with some space in the bottom substrate for a few rooted plants. It took me all last to finish it, but I got a draft version of the tri-fold instruction sheet to go with the Mini Garden Combination Package. here is the link to the pdf... Basic Instructions: Mini Garden Combination Package *

I got them from you a short time ago. I still have to use them. Been very busy with life and a few friends getting sick. A few people have told me these things are real cool and they work great.

The underwater planting in my 50-gallon is still looking good. These underwater plants are all planted into Tank Planters.
![]() Look close and you'll see the little synodontis that were zooming around when I got this picture.

I made some time to get into my domain management and redirected TankPlanters.com over to a catalog page on the Riparium Supply site.
Here's the link. www.TankPlanters.com Watch out for more updates. TankPlanters.com will eventually have its own dedicated site.
