Nice!!! Altums are sweet but very sensitive fish. I can't wait to see them!

Yes, they are very sensitive. Careful acclimation procedures are needed, luckily I have kept them before so it will not be a problem

Awesome...

I just receive a dozen a few weeks ago... they are growing like crazy, placing them in a bare bottom tank for growth, will be feeding them live food and high protein beef heart based flakes among other things... live critters for bed snacks !

My project is to breed them and also cross breed with current domestic stock. But a large planted tank will look extremely nice with a pair, adults are very territorial and difficult to keep without them tearing their fins apart... unless we can keep them sedated !!!!

My Altums are on the way! They should be here on Wednesday

Felix, I have never hear of anybody being able to breed Altums in Aquariums. have you had success with this?
