Default Light for a 10g Low Tech

Hey,

I set up a 10g tank for my black bar endler's a couple of weeks ago, I put the tank close to a window thinking that it would get enough light to keep some cabomba and ambulias. Well, all of these plants melted and I'm guessing the lack of light as the problem.

Now I'm on a budget and I was wondering if the Hampton Bay 27watt light is enough to keep the plants. I want to stuff the tank with Cabombas, Ambulias and Wisterias, I don't want to dose CO2 but I can dose some PFERTZ if I have to.

What do you guys think???

SET UP:

HOB Aquaclear 10-30
Fluorite substrate
NO LIGHT YET
8 Black Bar Endler's Class N
RCS

Flora: (LOTS of)
Cabomba
Ambulia
Wisteria

Thanks for the answer.

Do you think I should dose ferts to this tank or can I just do my water changes with water from my ADA tank that is full of nutrients???

It will need Excel at least. My wife had a tank like this with 27w of NOT5 bulbs and she dosed it with Excel daily. It was a great looking tank until I took over and ruined it

She said all she did was bare bones dosing, only when she thought it needed it. I would do regular tap water changes.
