I should have bought one from GLA.
While I am waiting on Orlando's turtle to arrive with a shipment of double drop checkers , I purchased a cheap one from sexyladykz2008 off ebay to hold me over it was $10.00 shipped to be exact. Now I have purchased my fair share of stuff off of ebay and never had a single problem till now. The cubic co2 drop checker came in destroyed and the packaging was terrible, it came in a thin box, literally thinner than the box a bar of soap comes in from the grocery store. The box was wrapped with one layer of small bubble wrap and placed in a thin plastic envelope then in a thin paper envelope. I have never seen such poor packaging, especially for such a fragile item. I contacted the seller sexyladykz2008 and she said it happens and offered me a discount on another one, sure thing I will give you more of my money or I could ship it back for a refund which again cost me more money should I spend $20.00 to get $10.00 back lol for her poor packaging, she said I didn't buy insurance well she didn't offer it in the ad it said free shipping "insurance not offered" even if it was insured the post office is not going to return money for pure neglect to package an item properly. Anyway before you buy a cubic co2 drop checker or anything else from sexyladykz2008 go else where it's a 50/50 chance that your item will arrive intact and if it's broke good luck! I am just going to cut my losses and post it so others won't make the same mistake. I honestly wouldn't care about the broken item if the packaging was decent and it got crushed in transit, it does happen but the packaging was extremely poor as you can see below, it's like she didn't even make an effort to secure the item. I could have told her before hand that thing would not hold up to 1 day of shipping much less 15 days from HK. Here are the pics of the cubic Co2 drop checker and the superb packaging. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a rare occurrence but I was hoping to save a little $ till those double drop checker became available. Next time or actually this time I am going to GLA. that was a good deal so it seemed but I can't monitor my co2 with broken glass. Just goes to show in most cases you get what you pay for. My .02 Eric |

After threating to post the above message on every forum/message board in existence I managed to get $5.00 back
that's something but I still would advise against buying from this particular seller. It's bad enough to have a wait 15-20 day but then when a damaged product shows up and the seller could care less that really bites. I am definitely going to Orlando for my co2 equipment from now on, especially glass. This way I know my item will be here fast and in one piece. Eric |

I have asked several retail shops in the Florida area about drop checkers, no one seems to even know what they are. Is this device that special that the plant outlets are not even aware of them, personally I think that the prices being asked is little steep considering its only a piece of glass, that includes Orlando's prices. I am using a ph controller/monitor because I like going high tech, but the drop checker would be a nice addition

We offer the only true working drop checker with all the 4DKH and bromo blue you would need to get going. pH monitors are great at keeping co2 levels consistent, but they do not measure co2. A drop checker is a fast affective way to dial in any controlled co2 system. You can opt for the cheap stuff, but you will soon find out you get what you pay for..
