Default CaribSea Instant Aquarium Substrate

I just installed some CaribSea Instant Aquarium Substrate in my 75 gal tank. The bags are approx 20 lbs, and the bag comes with water similar to Eco-Complete. I bought 80 lbs for my tank and I'm surprised at how little surface this covers. I barely have 1" of substrate in the tank. The only thing I can figure is that the smaller grain size takes up less space. I'm a little disappointed that I'll have to go back to the store tomorrow and pick up another 40 lbs to get the depth I want.

One bag for a 75G? I would think at least 8-10 bags for this

lol, maybe it's the first case of the bottomless aquarium that requires truckloads of sand to fill.

I new it! Hole on the bottom.

I new a guy who had the problem, his tank could never hold water.

Yes, its a fact. Tank was made out of concrete and would never stay full

I blame Chris for this, and Caribsea.
