As I said before, the bags are packed full to the top. I find AS bags to be like a bag of chips, half air. So while the bag is smaller, its filled with no voids.

So 9L! Great! How about some pictures? Do you have a price in mind for the substrate yet? What size box can you get three of these bags in? Do they just barely fit?

I was playing with dirt today. I cant believe how clear the test tank was after I filled it. Not a single cloud of debris

It will be around $25-$28. And I think I can fit 4 bags in a large flat rate box, but Im not sure. I have not tested that yet.

Give me one more day for pics, I just spent a few hours planting a holding tank for stems...

Its a lot like Aquasoil. Its a Japanese soil substrate in 2 colors. I have been meaning to get you guys pictures. I have been so busy with work and farm..

I am interested in the soil as well! Even though AS works like a charm, it would be great to try some of the other soils as well!

This soil is such a pleasure to work with. It does not cloud up the tank. No brake in period. Also available in 2 colors. Made by a large aquatic plant farm in Japan and they have been using it with great results. Its great for shrimp tanks, keeping the pH in the low 6 range...
