I think both colors have there place. That pic is a little more brown with the tannins, it actually looks much better without tannins.

Does it leach ammonia like AS?

No sir, it sure does not. It has about 12-18 months of nutrients in it

I noticed for the first 48 hours it seemed to release a good amount of co2 though, so keep this in mind. You will also notice the usual little woody stems here and there like AS.

The container was X-Rayed and released today!
