This is a sweet little tank. It's really neat to see those fern roots develop in the substrate. You probably have this in mind already, but for the next time you are shooting pictures I have just a couple of suggestions: 1. removal of those hard water deposits with some white vinegar 2. a clear light-colored or dark-colored background.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I actually have the tank topped off most of the time, I was "training" the oto's to stay in the water by keeping it low. As of right now, there are no hard water stains and maybe 1/4" of evaporation. Prob a good idea with the background, I love how it looks without it, but it's not very photogenic!

Been a while since I updated this, but sold the moss and took a pic for the person buying it. And a pic of the lone inhabitant in here (his buddy must have taken a leap and been found by the dog :/)
I want to rescape but don't want to ruin the M. minuta I have in here... I'll have to see what I can do about that... ![]() ![]() |

Just a quick update, this tank has long since been torn down to give me more counterspace and as of today is up for sale. I have it listed on TPT as the full setup more or less, but if you're interested on here and aren't on TPT then shoot me a PM on here I guess.
